After years of problems with iron absorption which left me drained and exhausted the doctor told me that my iron levels were now in the normal range. I really didn’t feel that much better so I decided I needed to improve my cardiovascular fitness.
David had been recommended by a friend so I contacted him. What I got was cardio fitness and lots more. He suggested I follow his nutritional plan in addition to the workouts and after 10 weeks I had lost 15lbs in weight, 6cms from my belly, 4 cms from my bum and gained more energy and vitality than I’ve had in the last 12 years.

I first started training with David last March and have not looked back since.
When I started training, I had little fitness levels to speak of really, however that all changed. Within a few weeks, I was training harder than I ever had before, eating healthier, and enjoying my new lifestyle. With David the sessions are always different, so you never know what to expect from one session to the next, which keeps it interesting. With little tweaks to my lifestyle (at first) I quickly noticed areas firming up and my mid-section was reducing, and friends and family noticed too. Then once I was comfortable with that (i was reluctant at first as I have never dieted before), he then put me on his nutrition plan, and the results were amazing. I lost 24lbs in less than 2 months, and I was fitting into clothes that I had not been into since I was a teenager, in fact, I had to buy more clothes as mine were all too big.
David is very professional and discreet, he listens to what you want out of your sessions and makes it happen. I have no problem at all in recommending him to anyone, as I highly doubt they will be disappointed.
I have been a member of the gym at (Gym name removed for legal reasons) since the first day of it opening nearly ten years ago. I’ve always thought that I trained hard and did enough to keep myself in shape and then I met David at the beginning of the year and realised how wrong I was.
The intensity of our sessions is excellent and I feel like real progress is being made after every session. What I like about his methods is that he listens to what you have to say and prepares a programme to suit your ability and body. I have had many sporting injuries over the years and from those injuries came aches and pains, which seem to be starting to go away and I’m doing exercises and activities that I never thought I would be able to do again at 40! I just wish I could train with him every day!!

I’m one of those people who sometimes find that my brain and my limbs aren’t synchronised in a timely manner. Coupled with this, I have a tendency to overthink things so anyone training me has to have the patience of a saint, be able to explain moves in a way that I will be able to understand and be able to laugh with me when my lack of co-ordination is apparent. David is one such person. My fitness and endurance has improved tremendously since December and along the way we’ve had a few laughs as well as some tough training sessions. No one session is the same and support is provided in the form of detailed exercise programmes for when I’m working on my way and text messages check on my progress and aches and pains.
If you’re looking for someone who takes the time to devise programmes for YOU, designed to meet your goals, then I strongly suggest you try David.
Since working out with Dave’s support, my confidence levels have gone through the roof, my weight has dropped, and I feel great in my clothes again! I’ve lost just under 1 stone in 12 weeks safely & with minor diet changes…. Constant reviews of my programme and pushing the boundaries of what’s expected of me each few weeks has meant that I’ve not had a chance to plateau, or give up and certainly never get bored! My sessions are fun, full of laughter and Dave pushes you each time to achieve a little bit more. If you want to succeed, you only get out what you put in – so try everything; be prepared to push through the pain barrier (it does get easier!) and be honest with yourself – you can do a lot more than you think – Dave knows it, and he’ll prove it to you!
After just 12 weeks of training with David I have lost nearly 2 stone in weight, my body fat has dropped considerably and I’ve lost over 3 inches from my waist. I look and feel years younger and my friends and family have noticed the difference too. With David you get the complete package: a targeted training regime, a dietary plan and regular body assessment sessions covering weight, body fat and measurements so you can track your progress from every angle. I’ve particularly enjoyed the variety of the training sessions, which have included cardio, body sessions and boxing and the RAF dreaded bleep test !!. After researching endless advice on the Internet for strength training, I decided to gain some professional advice. I met with David who produced me a personalised programme which was based around my goals and needs. I find David to be a fantastic trainer, he has an extensive knowledge of training techniques, and he is a keen motivator and an all round friendly guy. I have been training with David for a couple of months now each session is interesting and different from the last and the results have been fantastic.
I would recommend David to anyone who wants REAL results.
After badly spraining my ankle playing football, being unable to exercise as I normally would I was really concerned that my fitness would suffer, I would pile weight on and scar tissue around the joint would become a potential problem in the future. I have never had a personal trainer before but was impressed from the outset with the level of personalisation. Dave offered to rehabilitate my ankle with specialist exercises whilst providing advice on appropriate cardiovascular training. As my ankle improved to at least being able to comfortably walk up or down stairs, Dave tailored his guidance to me individually to avoid postural complications as a result of the injury and also to rebuild muscle around my ankle. Over a period of months with Dave’s help and his varied programmes, my ankle completely re-strengthened, my fitness was not just reasonably well maintained but also improved. I even managed to shift the Christmas pounds that inevitably get put on. I would recommend Dave unreservedly for his professional manner, well thought out programmes and attention to detail.
I have been training with David 2 to 3 times per week for just over four months now, and I can not recommend him highly enough. I first started to training with him as I needed to strengthen my back and my legs; after 3 weeks, I could see a difference in the muscle tone and now I feel so much fitter and stronger since starting and, not only my legs and back are stronger, but all my body is toning up and I’m a lot trimmer.
He is great at motivating me and seemed to know what my limits were right from the start, so each session was made according my fitness level.I can honestly say that I have noticed that my strength and endurance have improved tremendously.
He is very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He makes every session worthwhile – there’s so much variety in everything we do.
Training alone was repetitive and boring while exercising with him is never monotonous and make the actual training session pass quicker.

As someone who goes to the gym and after five minute says sod it and goes to the sauna, I thought at 52 I should do something more positive before decrepitude set in. I saw Dave’s flyer, got in touch and have been training with him two or three times a week ever since. I can now do a full workout and then run a 3.5 mile course, which when I started 2miles seemed like running to the moon. I now have muscles in places I didn’t know I had!
Dave is very knowledgeable and friendly and, although I have often called him things I can’t put into print when he pushes more than I think is possible, I would highly recommend him as a personal trainer and would recommend Personal Training to anyone who lacks motivation.
